doug joins us with a word on what to expect from here on out. >> we are seeing a little freezing, drizzly mist and a couple of areas of sleet. to tell you the truth, not much happened outside the weather center anywhere else. doppler radar shows patches of freezing rain, but by and large there is not a problem and we do not expect a problem through the evening hours. the areas of storm in this kind of split depauperatapart quickly. the energy agreement got zapped out of that midwestern storm -- pretty much got zapped out of that midwestern storm. there could be a touch of freezing rain or drizzle. that is about it. temperatures may actually rise a

it skidded off the runway and ended up in a grassy area. no one was hurt. passengers were bused from the plane to the tournament. >> this has caused a domino effect at airports all over the country as flights are either canceled or delayed. as you can imagine, that is causing some frustration in our area airports. >> just to show you how fast those dominoes can fall, i just checked the flight board inside the airport a couple of minutes ago. a good one-third of all the flight scheduled to arrive tonight are late. >> we have been here since last night. >> flight after flight coming into or out of reagan is delayed or canceled. the source of the problem is in the midwest. a huge winter storm strangle the

firefighters say an electrical problem calused the fire. a man and two children were killed. and 11-year-old girl was critically injured and a woman and her daughter suffered minor injuries. >> timothy was a teacher at an elementary school. according to charging documents he fondled students and tried to force them to fondle him in return. parents expressed shock. >> this is devastating. you trust them. when you bring your kids to school, you trust they will take care of your kids. if that is not happening who else can you trust? >> we went to his home to get his side of the story, but no one answered the door.

>> police have arrested a woman suspected of robbing two banks just 17 minutes apart earlier this month. she faces federal charges in both of these cases. police say she first robbed a pnc bank on wisconsin avenue, then minutes later rob a bank of america on connecticut avenue. videos showed she wore a bandage on her face and was covered head to toe in outerwear. >> a dramatic day in court as the south african reis are accused of killing his girlfriend on valentine's day was set free on bail. stacy has reaction to the decision. >> oscar pistorius is free -- for now. after a nearly two our verbal dissection of the case against the runner, bail was set at around $112,000.

what to expect from the oscars in the red carpet special tonight at 8:00. >> we have a little rain, a little sleet, a little mess on our hands, but nothing terrible. we will have improving weather over the weekend. sunday is the better of the two days by far. that is about all. temperatures have risen a degree or two over the past hour. we are not worried about any precipitation. i will show you where there is lingering concern. no rain reported in frederick. we are currently at 30 degrees. we want to show this to you. what you will see on the outer rim of our doppler radar -- these are areas of rain shower.

in the areas where it is 30 degrees or below, there is potential for freezing drizzle or freezing rain. that is what we are dealing with. the only real concern, by definition, is to the north and west, where there is a winter weather advisory. but there is no precipitation. but if there are results, it could freeze, so that is the reason -- if it does drizzle, it could freeze, so that is the reason for the winter weather advisory. we will hold steady with a little spotty rain or drizzle and the possibility of a wintry mixed north and west of the city later tonight. temperatures are cold, but not

terribly cold in new york, 36 degrees. 34 in boston. what is happening in the atmosphere is that big blizzard fell apart into nothing. the energy is in the southern stream of the jet and that is going to intensify tomorrow a along the outer banks. this area of low pressure will develop. there is the potential of seeing some rain here. again, the energy is going to form of off the coast later tonight. it looks like we will get some rain around the region tomorrow. the steady stream will be south and east of here and out of here by midday. we will finally get some clearing on sunday with temperatures well into the 40's. not a terrible picture. 36 degrees with some drizzle

is a confidential list of who did what and what consequences they face. the internal fbi documents from 2012 and 2013 were obtained by cnn. some of the misdeeds of listed included an employee you hit a recording device in a supervisor's -- who hid a recording device and a supervisor's office and a supervisor who repeatedly committed check fraud. in each case, the penalty was dismissal. >> we have seen a rash of sext ing cases and people misusing their blackberries. we were hoping that getting the message out would teach people that you cannot do this stuff. >> while the release of the report is embarrassing, the fbi actually has one of the lowest rates of misconduct at any federal agency and lower rates
